Lenawee County Community Events: October

The City of Adrian is hosting its second annual Scarecrow Contest.  You can click here to view the contest rules, regulations, and how to submit.

There will be a food drive from September 29th - October 3rd to benefit The Daily Bread of Lenawee.  There will be a truck to receive non-parishable items from 9 a.m.  - 4 p.m. during the week behind the City Hall in Adrian.   You can find out more information, such as what items are needed, by checking out The Daily Bread of Lenawee's Facebook page

Carter Rehab and Aquatic Center is also hosting a can food drive from October 1st - October 31st at the Country Market plaza.  They are open from 7 a.m. - 7 p.m.  Food can be dropped off directly at the center and will benefit The Daily Bread of Lenawee soup kitchen.

The Lenawee District Library will be having a week-long fall book sale starting Saturday September 27th - Thursday October 2nd during library business hours.  Thursday is bag day:  All the books that you can fit into a paper shopping bag for only $5!
